I stumbled into the field of rehabilitation counseling after I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in philosophy. A friend referred me to the Master’s program in rehabilitation counseling at the University of Northern Colorado when I was living in Greeley. After earning a Master’s degree, I worked for five years for the Colorado Division of Rehabilitation. I have enjoyed working in rehabilitation counseling ever since, and have also done life care planning, and case management and coordination in the private sector since 1975. I have worked on cases in every state and in some foreign countries. I am a life member of the American Board of Vocational Experts, a certified disability management specialist, certified case manager, certified vocational evaluation specialist, and a certified life care planner. I love to travel, and after a trip to Africa, I inflicted my wild animal pictures on our office in Denver. I like to photograph family and friends, and my husband and I like to cook and entertain.
